Duplexity

Oh, Cleveland. I saw you standing on half of a duplex porch with your suspenders and your flyswatter slapping at mayflys through the smoke from your cigar.

I thought so too until I looked it up. According to Wikipedia, midges are a generic name for all kinds of two-winged insects.

Mayflies are the specific insect known to swarm on the shores of Lake Erie.
